Early Development Network

The Early Development Network is a program designed to support parents in helping their child.  It is a cooperative effort between the Nebraska Department of Education, your local school district, Western Community Health Resources Services Coordination along with the Department of Health and Human Services.  This program serves children from birth to three and their families.  A child is eligible for Early Development Network services if he or she is not developing typically, or has been diagnosed with a health condition that will affect his or her development.  Families who may have questions about the program should call Western Community Health Resources located at 848 Morehead Street, Chadron, Nebraska and talk to Autumn Caulkins, Service Coordinator or Sherry Retzlaff, Early Development Network Director.

Identifying such delays or disabilities usually involves both the family and a team of professionals.  We look forward to working with you through the Early Development Network Program.  If you would like more information about this program, please call Western Community Health Resources at 1-800-717-1231 Extension 111.
